At 6:45 p.m., Engine 522 responded to a fire on Interstate 10 near milepost 200 and found a travel trailer being towed had caught on fire. Engine 522 extinguished the flames on the travel trailer, which was heavily damaged.
At 2:24 p.m. Engine 521 responded to Sixth and A streets for a downed power line. The area was secured and APS was notified.
At 5:56 p.m. in the 5000 block of North Sunland Gin Road, Engine 522 responded for a smell of natural gas and found the building had been evacuated. The fire crew entered the building with air-monitoring equipment and found no flammable readings. The building turned over to Southwest Gas and building management.
At 3:01 p.m. Brush 521 responded to I-10 milepost 214 and found a column of smoke from weeds one-half mile north of the freeway. Units cleared and return to station.
• At 7:35 p.m. in the 500 block of West First Street units found a fire had occurred behind a dryer. The fire was out and crews checked for any further extension into the building. The scene was cleared and turned over to the resident.

The Eloy Fire District responded to the following emergency-medical calls for the week ending Sunday:
• Station 1 ran 29 medical-related calls and one motor vehicle accident.
• Station 2 ran 11 medical-related calls and two motor vehicle accidents.
• There were four public-assistance service calls responded to and five calls from outside agencies for assistance.
