The Eloy Fire District responded to the following calls for the week ending Dec 15th, 2019. The district also responded to 5 calls from an outside agency for assistance.
At 2:18 pm in the 1700 block of E. Hanna Rd. En521 was dispatched for a fully-involved vehicle fire. EN521, BC521 arrived on-scene to find a fully involved vehicle fire on a tow dolly with no exposures. EN521 crew pulled an attack line for fire control and extinguished the vehicle fire. The vehicle sustained heavy fire damage. BC521 remained on-scene and EN521 cleared and went available.
At 8:40 am in the 5200 Block of W. Pueblo Dr. EN522 was dispatched for a fire alarm activation. While responding to the incident EN522 was canceled via the alarm company which stated it was a false alarm. EN522 returned to quarters.
At 9:03 am in the 4000 block of W. Aztec Dr. EN522 was dispatched for a fire alarm activation. EN522 arrived on-scene with nothing showing and investigating. EN522 crew found no signs of a faulty detector and completed air monitoring for any other hazards which nothing was found. EN522 crew remained on-scene providing customer service. Once all the customers concerns were handled EN522 crew went available for service.
