The Eloy Fire District responded to the following calls for the week ending May 26. The district also responded to 4 calls from an outside agency for assistance.
At 9:26 am at the intersection of Shedd Road and Tumbleweed Road, Brush 522 was dispatched to a brush fire. Crews found a small brush fire and extinguished it without incident.
At 2:17 pm on Interstate 10 at milepost 218 Brush 521 extinguished a brush fire along the edge of the freeway.
At 6:02 pm in the 300 block of W. Alsdorf crews responded to smoke in a residential structure. Upon arrival E521 entered building and discovered a plastic lid that had been melted on the stove burner. Crews made sure there was no further fire and then ventilated the structure with a fan to clear out the smoke.
