The Eloy Fire District responded to the following calls for the week ending Sept 8. The district also responded to 7 calls from an outside agency for assistance.
At 8:39 am in the intersection of Battaglia Road and State Route 87. Brush 521 responded to a report of a brush Fire. BR521 arrived on-scene to find a small brush fire burning in that area. Crews extinguished the fire and checking the area for additional hot spots. Crews cleared and returned to quarters
At 9:24 am in the 400 Block of E. 6th St. Engine 521 was dispatched for a smell of smoke in the residence. Car 522 on-scene with nothing showing and investigating. EN521 arrived on-scene and assigned Interior to investigate with the thermal imagining camera. A complete assessment of the structure was checked and nothing was found. It was determined to be unfounded and crews returned to quarters
At 8:43 pm in the 3000 block of W. Milligan Rd. Engine 521 was dispatched for a Fire alarm activation. EN521 responded. While en route to the call the RP called and advised it was a false alarm and units could cancel.
At 2:23 am in the 500 block of E. Hopi Cir. Engine 521 was dispatched for a residential structure fire. EN521 arrived on scene to find the fire had been extinguished by the Occupants. EN521 crew investigated the scene to determine that an electrical issue had occurred creating electrical arching and burnt the wires. EN521’s crew was able to isolate and de-energize the power outlet at the electrical panel. Crews checked for any other issues and found none. All units were cleared and returned to service

Station two ran 8 Medical related calls and 1 Motor Vehicle Accident.
