The Eloy Fire District responded to the following calls for the week ending Feb. 9. The district also responded to 5 call from an outside agency for assistance.

Feb. 3

At 3:42 am in the 500 block of E. Navajo Cir. ENG521, ENG522, M521, BC521 were dispatched for a residential structure fire. ENG 521 arrived on-scene and discovered a large trash roll off container full involved. BC521 arrived and assumed command assigning ENG521 crew as fire attach. An Abandoned house was the only nearby exposure and was not in immediate danger of the fire. Crews were able to quickly attack fire and was able to report to the incident command that the fire was out. Crew remained on-scene for a short time confirming no other hazards on-scene. EPD was on-scene and secured the area. The fire is currently under investigation.

Feb. 7

At 8:01 am in the 1000 block of S. Sunshine Blvd. Brush 521 was dispatched for a report of brush fire near a fuel station. BR521 responded to find an area of brush on fire. BR521 crew extinguished the brush fire. Crew remained on-scene to wetline the area and mop up as necessary. Crews cleared and returned to the station.

Feb. 9

At 3 pm in the 8000 Block of W. Nugget. ENG522 & BC521 were dispatched for Mutual-aid to a residential structure fire in Arizona City. EFD BC521 arrived on-scene with Arizona City EN568 initially on-scene with a single story residential home and two sheds involved in fire. AZCFD EN568 passed command to EFD BC521 who assigned those Crews Fire Attack on the Southside of the Buildings in a defensive position. EFD EN522 arrived on-scene and worked on fire attack from the Northside of the buildings. CGFD EN501 arrived on-scene and was assigned to relieve AZCFD EN568 crew so they could go to rehab. After quite some time, fire control was obtained due to the amount of buildings and fire involved. Additional AZCFD personnel responded and Command was turned over to AZCFD. EFD and CGFD were released to return to their response areas.

The Eloy Fire District responded to the following EMS calls for the week ending Feb 9.

Station one responded to 42 Medical related calls and 4 Motor Vehicle Accidents.

Station two responded to 19 Medical related calls and 1 Motor Vehicle Accident.
