The following was taken from the records at the Coolidge Police Department.

Arrests & Citations

On Dec. 15 Michael Jones, 42, was arrested on charges of assault, theft and resisting arrest after police said he reportedly went into a woman’s purse while at an apartment at 904 N. Washington St. and stole two credit cards, a cell phone and $300 in cash. Police also said that he reportedly choked the victim. The cell phone was later recovered. Estimated loss $300.

On Dec. 15 Michael Montijo, 26, was arrested for a valid and confirmed city of Casa Grande warrant during a traffic stop that took place in the 200 block of West Pima Avenue.

On Dec. 15 Byron Cassa, 33, was arrested for a valid and confirmed city of Casa Grande warrant following a traffic stop that occurred near the intersection of South Arizona Boulevard and West Palo Verde Avenue.

On Dec. 14 Madison Vaughn, 18, was cited and released for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop that occurred at the intersection of State Route 87 and State Route 287.

On Dec. 12 Gregory Francisco, 51, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence after police received reports of a wrong way driver on Coolidge Avenue.

On Dec. 12 Waylon Armstrong, 36, was arrested for two valid and confirmed city of Coolidge warrants after police were dispatched to the residence located at 201 W. Sundance Drive in reference to an intoxicated individual causing a disturbance.

On Dec. 11 Aaron Thompson, 21, was cited and released for disorderly conduct after police said he was involved in a physical altercation with his brother and father that took place at the residence located at 1053 S. 3rd St.

On Dec. 5 Trashanna Mathis, 42, was arrested for a valid and confirmed Coolidge city warrant while at the residence located at 2270 W. Central Ave. after police were called to the area over a disturbance.

On Dec. 12 Jon Kaehu, 42, was arrested on charges of failure to obtain the proper Arizona ID for registered sex offenders while at the residence located at 608 S. 13th Place after police said that witnesses spotted him reportedly attempting to make contact with girls at Basha High School in Chandler.

On Dec. 11 Charles Gibson, 45, was arrested for a probation violation warrant while at the residence located at 321 W. Byrd Ave.

On Dec. 6 Leana Chase, 27, was taken into custody at the Gila River Detention Center, 693 W. Seed Farm Rd., for two valid and confirmed city of Coolidge warrants.

On Dec. 12 Rojelio Harrison, 20, was taken into custody at the Gila River Detention Center, 693 W. Seed Farm Rd., for a valid and confirmed city of Coolidge warrant.

On Dec. 9 Taylor Slaughter, 25, was arrested for five valid and confirmed Coolidge city warrants during a traffic stop that took place at the intersection of 3rd Street and Walton Avenue.

On Dec. 9 Felix Levario, 62, was arrested for a valid and confirmed Gila County Superior Court warrant while riding his bicycle near North 4th Street and West Lindbergh Avenue

On Dec. 9 Uyen Shubert, 45, was arrested on charges of assault (domestic violence) after police said she reportedly burned her boyfriend with a cigarette, slapped his face and scratched his back with her fingernails during an altercation that took place at 2216 W. Pima Ave.

On Dec. 4 Victor Garcia, 19, was arrested for a valid and confirmed city of Casa Grande warrant and a valid and confirmed City of Eloy warrant during a traffic stop that occurred near North Skousen Road and West Midway Avenue. Police said he was also cited for speeding.

On Dec. 3 Brandon Horlacher, 34, was arrested for three valid and confirmed city of Coolidge warrants after police said he was found dumpster diving behind the Rain Tunnel Car Wash, 1086 N. Arizona Blvd.

On Nov. 27 Charles Rinchiuso, 23, was arrested for a valid and confirmed Flagstaff Justice of the Peace warrant while riding his bike near 1246 W. Wilson Ave.

On Dec. 1 Corey Harris, 26, was arrested for four valid and confirmed City of Coolidge warrants after police said he was found dumping debris from his truck on a vacant lot located at 540 N. 4th St.

On Nov. 18 Luria McKinney, 45, was arrested for two valid and confirmed city of Coolidge warrants after police said she involved in a verbal disturbance at the residence located at 775 N. Arizona Blvd.

On Nov. 27 Jo Mendoza, 41, was cited and released for driving under the influence following a single vehicle collision that occurred near the intersection of West Bartlett Road and 11 Mile Corner Road.

On Nov. 28 Esteban Sauceda, 27, was cited and released for a shoplifting incident at Walmart, 1695 N. Arizona Blvd., that occurred on Nov. 17. Police said he reportedly returned two cases of beer he never actually purchase from the store. Estimated loss $34.14.

Theft, Burglary & Criminal Damage

On Dec. 17 an unknown man shoplifted an 18 pack of Budweiser beer from Circle K, 1541 N. Arizona Blvd. Estimated loss $17.99.

On Dec. 7 it was reported that an unknown person(s) stole a tan 2000 GMC Yukon from the front yard of the residence located at 251 E. Walton Ave. Estimated loss $857.50.

On Dec. 2 it was reported that an unknown man shoplifted a bottle of Clear Eyes eye drops from the Speedway Gas station, 780 N. Arizona Blvd. Estimated loss $3.99.

On Nov. 21 it was repotted that an unknown person(s) committed theft when they stole a black Samsung A10e cell phone from the boy’s locker room at Coolidge High School, 684 W. Northern Avenue. Estimated loss $280.

On Nov. 20 it was reported that that on Nov. 6 two unknown men shoplifted three Apple AirPods from Walmart, 1695 N. Arizona Blvd., by switching the price tag on the items from $144 to $7. A third unknown man later attempted to do the same thing to four other sets of AirPods but was unable to purchase the items when a store employee noticed the change. Police said the third individual was seen getting into the same vehicle as the two men who had shoplifted the first set of AirPods. Estimated loss $412.

On Nov. 18 it was reported that an unknown person(s) stole an Amazon package containing an embroidered dog collar that had been delivered to the residence located at 341 W. Northern Ave. Estimated loss $20.

On Nov. 5 it was reported that an unknown person(s) stole a 1967 Ford F150 pick up truck from the driveway of the residence located at 375 W. Harding Ave.
