Can you imagine a high school taught at a movie theater? Or online? Due to varieties of events, our first year was taught at a movie theater (scholars loved it!); our second year was a COVID online year (not as many loved that). What a start, right?

Welcome to the FIRST “normal and fully on-campus” year at Heritage Academy in Maricopa, where school starts on July 21. Here are some of the new or additional things we will be doing and seeing at Heritage this coming school year:

  • A full, college-prep, academic academy: enlarged Dual Enrollment Program with Central Arizona College
  • Martial arts program, ballroom dance program, elite choir group
  • A #1-ranked girls’ soccer team
  • Professional theatrical productions (5-star director with past students on Broadway, TV, Disney)
  • A new state-of-the-art gymnasium
  • Daily citizenship classes reviewing patriotism, historic heritage, constitution, Founding Fathers
  • Art retreat, historic trip to Washington, D.C., competitive sports
  • Daily Pledge of Allegiance, moment of silence and “thought for the day”

A few more facts will help you appreciate the beautiful, new academic setting at 41000 W. Heroes Way, 85138 near Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. We are more than just a new, gorgeous campus that is still expanding and accepting new scholars. Currently we have a waiting list for all grade levels (6-12), but the list has a lot of movement over the summer, so it is time to get your name on there.

This past year, students from our Heritage campuses (located in Mesa, Queen Creek, Laveen and Maricopa) received over $3 million in scholarships to top colleges and U.S. academies.

Additionally, we pride ourselves in being drug-free while enforcing dress codes and scholar behaviors. Scholars at our school agree to their best behavior on campus (no swearing or fighting, much self-accountability and polite in-class cooperation). Our classes are 90 minutes long, meeting four days a week, with Fridays set aside for extracurricular functions or projects (not a school day).

You are cordially invited to check out our campus!
