COOLIDGE — Police are looking for a man who reportedly robbed a bank at gunpoint on Friday near downtown Coolidge.
Officials from the Coolidge Police Department said that around 9:42 a.m., a man wearing all black clothing and a black ski mask robbed the Great Western Bank, 635 N. Arizona Blvd.
No injuries were reported in the robbery.
Police said that a witness saw the man running east behind the bank before getting into a blue vehicle and fleeing the scene.
The witness reportedly followed the vehicle but lost it near the intersection of Main Street and Coolidge Avenue. Officers Friday worked with crime scene technicians from the Arizona Department of Public Safety to process the scene.
Authorities indicated that detectives are actively working on the case and are following up on “strong investigative leads.”
