Super Bowl party
The Coolidge High School Football Boosters will be posting a Super Bowl party at the American Legion Hall, 408 N. Main St., beginning at 4 p.m. on Sunday, with money benefiting the football team.
Arizona@Work Pinal County has teamed up with the Coolidge Chamber, City of Coolidge, Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce, Pinal County, Goodwill and Linkages to host a job fair in Coolidge. To date, 31 businesses have confirmed attendance. The fair will take place from 19 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 26 at the Artisan Village of Coolidge’s community center.
The Casa Grande Ruins speaker series will continue on Jan. 29 with a presentation from Madeleine Ostwald, a doctoral student in animal behavior at Arizona State University. She will be speaking on “Native Bees of the Sonoran Desert” beginning at noon in the park’s theater room.
4C Car Show

Coolidge Historical Museum
The Coolidge Historical Museum, 161 W. Harding, is open from October through April, Fridays and Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Extended Ruins hours
With cooler weather here, the Casa Grande Ruins National Monument is expanding its seasonal hours. Between Oct. 1 and April 30, the park will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., as opposed to 4 p.m.
The Coolidge Lions Club meets on the first and third Wednesdays of the month at 7 p.m. at the American Legion Post 54, 408 N. Main St.

Medicare made easy meeting
Get updated or learn all of your Medicare choices from Gloria Smith of Insurance and Consulting Services. Every first Thursday of the month, an educational session is held (no selling). Topics covered include requirements and guidelines for HMO/PPO, prescriptions, diabetes, heart conditions. Medicare and AHCCCS plans.
