CASA GRANDE — The original musical play “The Voices of Motown” returns to the Paramount Theatre for a special showing on Sunday at 5 p.m.
It’s followed by a Soul Train-style after-party featuring the Motown hits of the ‘70s and ‘80s beginning at 7 p.m.
“Casa Grande will experience the story of Motown and relive the dance moves from the ‘70s and ‘80s after the play,” said Ricky Robinson of Triple RRR Productions. “We will also have a best dressed contest for the people who comes dressed in the ‘70s and ‘80s attire and we will have a dance contest. This will be a fun affair for the entire family.”
“The Voices of Motown” features the singing of popular Motown-inspired tribute band NFocus and tells the story of Motown.
It’s written by local playwright Gwen Wright.
Performers will tell much of the story by singing songs by Diana Ross, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder and David Ruffin.

A cash bar will be available for bar and food service.
