GriefShare

GriefShare is a special weekly seminar and support group designed to help people rebuild their life after losing a loved one. The group is led by caring people who have experienced grief and want to help through the difficult days. A grief support group meets from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursdays through April 2 at Trinity Southern Baptist Church, 1100 E. Trinity Place. For more information, call 520-836-2383.

Baha’i meeting

Aglow meeting

The local chapter of Aglow International meets from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday in the Fiesta Grande Resort Saguaro Room, 1511 E. Florence Blvd. Aglow International is a 50-year-old ministry with chapters worldwide. The local chapter is a group of Christian men and women who meet in small groups. Meetings are open to all who would like to learn more. This month’s discussion will be on “Seeing As Heaven Sees.” Light refreshments will be served. Casa Grande Life Walk & Diaper Drive

The 11th annual Casa Grande Life Walk & Diaper Drive to be held in remembrance of lives lost to abortion will start at 10:30 and run till noon on Saturday at Peart Park, 350 E. Sixth St. in Casa Grande. If able, attendees should bring a diaper donation to benefit a pregnancy resource center. The one-hour walk begins and ends at Peart Park, with a rose-laying ceremony following at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Knights of Columbus breakfast

St. Anthony of Padua’s Knights of Columbus Council 3136 will serve breakfast following Sunday Masses through the end of March. Breakfast includes eggs, sausage, pancakes, French toast, potatoes, biscuits and gravy as well as coffee, tea, hot chocolate, orange juice and water for $6. All are welcome.

Compass Christian Church’s Celebrate Recovery

Compass Christian Church will offer Celebrate Recovery meetings on the first Thursday of every month at the church, 1510 N. Casa Grande Ave. Dinner is from 6 to 6:45 p.m. The meeting starts at 7 in the large room. At 8, attendees are divided into small groups for sharing. After the small group meetings, everyone comes together to chat over coffee and goodies at the Cross Talk Café from 9 to 9:30 p.m. The meeting is a time to make new friends, ask questions or find a sponsor. On non-dinner nights, the meeting begins at 7 p.m. Child care is provided until 9:30 p.m. for potty-trained children up to age 11. Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery program that celebrates God’s healing power.
