ORACLE — An art show entitled “Really Rural” featuring paintings by Sheila Miles runs through Feb. 27 at Adobe Barn Gallery, Triangle L Ranch, 2805 N. Triangle L Ranch Road.
Miles has been painting for more than 40 years.
Her “Really Rural” exhibition demonstrates her “complex and hidden compositions in the seemingly simplest of places. Her paintings make the ordinary extraordinary and depict the beauty of the unnoticed; representing the ambience of a place and time that has a special, memorable or familiar iconic presence,” a press release from show organizers said.
An artist closing reception is set 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 27.
The Adobe Barn Gallery, gift shop and Sculpture Park are open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays or by appointment.
