CASA GRANDE — Area artists, singers, dancers, musicians and others will take the stage to share their talents Saturday, March 11, during the Yoga Recovery Healing Arts Project’s monthly open mic night showcase in Heritage Hall at The Museum of Casa Grande, 110 W. Florence Blvd.
Heritage Hall is a new location for the talent showcase, which was previously held at the BlackBox Foundation theater on Sacaton Street.
One-by-one during the event, acts will take the stage beginning at 6 p.m.
“All artists are welcome — music, dance, poetry, comedy, visual and performing arts, rap, storytelling, juggling, mystery talents and more,” an announcement from event organizers said.
YRHAP hosts the open mic nights on the second Saturday of every month. The show is open to all ages. Admission is free but donations are accepted.
“Thanks to all the performers, supporters and volunteers who make YRHAP open mic happen every month,” the announcement said.
YRHAP is nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to arts and wellness events in central Arizona.
Volunteers are needed to help with sound and stage, box office, greeting attendees, performing artist support and various behind-the-scenes tasks.
Those who wish to help should arrive between 4 and 5 p.m. Artist sign-in begins at 5:30.
