Outreach Church of God in Christ celebrates 61 years in the ministry on Sunday, May 31, beginning at 3:30 p.m. at 204 N. Trekell Road. A free to-go dinner will be served following the service. Launching the Casa Grande Youth Alliance

In the wake of a changing world, the Casa Grande Alliance is launching a Youth Alliance. The goal of the Youth Alliance is to create a space for young leaders to advocate for issues that directly affect them and their peers. The hope is that it will consist of at least two students from the middle and high schools who will develop and strengthen leadership skills while working on projects to benefit the community. Signal Peak Toastmasters

No Ostomy Support Group meeting

The Ostomy Support Group skipped its May meeting but hopes to resume monthly meetings in June.

No Zonta meeting

Zonta Club of Casa Grande Valley suspended its regular May meeting. The club will monitor the COVID-19 situation closely and hopes to resume monthly meetings soon.

No Kiwanis meeting

The Casa Grande Kiwanis will not meet Thursday.

Webinar offered

A webinar entitled “Your Home Climate During the COVID-19 Outbreak” is offered at 2 p.m. Thursday with Brad Snyder of Dion Initiative for Child Well-Being and Bullying Prevention. He will discuss creating a positive home climate to promote learning, prevent stress and protect children against cyberbullying during the outbreak. Fifth grade friends parade

A fifth grade friends parade will be held at 2 p.m. Friday. The group will meet at 1:45 at Desert Willow Elementary School and plans to drive through the Mission Valley neighborhood to give students a chance to say “goodbye” to elementary school.
