Elks plan blood drive

Casa Grande Valley Elks Lodge hosts a Red Cross blood drive on Friday from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the lodge, 909 E. Florence Blvd. Those who wish to donate should register in advance online at redcross.org. Walk-ins are welcome if space is available. The Red Cross is offering several incentives to those who wish to give blood: e-gift cards, a chance to win a trip to Graceland and a chance to win a gift basket valued between $60 and $80.

Fall Prevention Tips

A session entitled “Fall Prevention Tips” is being held from 1 to 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 23, at the Greater Casa Grande Chamber of Commerce, 575 N. Marshall St. Hilary Adams, licensed sales agent for Devoted Health Plans, will host the event, which includes fun, refreshments and a chance to learn more about Medicare with the team from Devoted Health. Multiclass reunion

The Casa Grande Union High School Class of 1971 is planning the annual multiclass reunion for the classes of 1960 through 1980. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 14, at BeDillon’s Restaurant and Cactus Garden, 800 N. Park Ave. It’s a casual get-together that takes place once a year on the second Friday of October. Dinner and drinks are at the attendee’s expense. Sit back, reminisce and listen and dance to the music provided. Signal Peak Toastmasters
