PEO meets

The regular meeting of PEO Chapter BP will be held on Monday. The chapter will follow all current safety procedures regarding COVID-19. Time for socializing will begin at 9:30 a.m. Also refreshments will be served at that time. The business meeting will start at 10 a.m. The event is open to all PEO unaffiliates and winter visitors. Those who need transportation, or would like further information, may call 712-259-1646.

Oro Valley Fall Artisan Market

ORO VALLEY — A two-day outdoor artisan market is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday at Oro Valley Marketplace, 12155 N. Oracle Road. The event showcases some of the Southwest’s finest artisans in fashion, food, home goods, painting and visual arts. In addition, pop-up music performances and food trucks will be onsite for attendees to enjoy. Admission is free.

Keep CG Beautiful cleanup

A Keep Casa Grande Beautiful cleanup begins at 7 a.m. on Saturday. Those wishing to clean up should meet at Ramada A in Villago Park. Gloves and trash bags will be provided. Volunteers should wear clothing appropriate for trash pickup.

Weekend entertainment

  • Wild West Outlaws perform from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, and Emotional Rescue on Saturday at the Tumbleweed Inn, 3802 W. Frontier St. in Eloy.
  • The Mellow B stand-up comedy show, featuring the talents of Arizona comedians, begins at 8 p.m. at the Paramount Theater, 420 N. Florence St. Ticket prices begin at $25.
  • The RJ Band performs at 5 p.m. Saturday at the Windmill Winery, 1140 W. Butte Ave. in Florence.
  • “A Word Before Dying,” a murder mystery event, begins at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Paramount Theater, 420 N. Florence St. Tickets are $35. The show includes brunch.

Signal Peak Toastmasters

Signal Peak Toastmasters meet on Thursdays at a new location in Casa Grande, 408 N. Sacaton St., Suite C1, on the west side of the building, and on Zoom. Arrive about 6:15 p.m. for a meeting that begins at 6:30. New members and visitors are welcome. Information at http://signalpeaktm.toastmastersclubs.org/.
