Library Card Month
September is Library Card Sign-up Month, a time when the Casa Grande Public Library joins the American Library Association and libraries nationwide to remind parents, caregivers and students that signing up for a library card is the first step on the path to academic achievement and lifelong learning. With access to technology, media resources and educational programs, a library card gives students the tools to succeed and provides people of all ages opportunities to pursue their dreams and passions. To get a card, stop by the desk at the main library or register online.
Online library registration
Don’t have a library card? Registration is now online and allows patrons access to all the library’s electronic resources, including Libby, Hoopla and Gale Courses. To register online, go to cglibrary.org, click on the “log in” link in the top right corner, then click on the link to “register now.” To upgrade an account to borrow physical materials, come by the library in person during hours of operation.
Study Center at Vista Grande Library
While Vista Grande remains closed for library services, it is open as a Study Center for K-12 students who need to use the Wi-Fi, print or just need a place to study. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult or older sibling. Bring your own devices and headphones if needed. If you need to print, bring your own change/small bills as printing is fully self-serve. Masks are required in all city facilities.
