CASA GRANDE — Singers Tracy Sanders and Jim Westover will star in an Elvis and Aretha tribute celebration concert on Saturday, Aug. 17, at the Paramount Theatre.
Both Aretha Franklin and Elvis Presley died on Aug. 16 — Presley in 1977 and Franklin in 2018.
“This concert celebration is dedicated to the memory of Elvis Presley and Aretha Franklin,” said show promoter Ricky Robinson. “They both left us on the same date.”
During the show at the Paramount, Westover, known for his Elvis tribute shows, will perform a tribute to the King of Rock ’n’ Roll.
Sanders, best known for her Diana Ross tribute shows, will perform a tribute to Franklin.
“There will also be a special appearance tribute to the Queen of Motown, Diana Ross,” Robinson said.
The show is a TripleRRR Production.
It begins at 5 p.m. on Aug. 17 at the Paramount Theatre, 407 N. Florence St.
