CASA GRANDE — Daring thrill-seekers will swing and spin in a 360-degree loop high above the ground when they board the Hyper Loop, one of several rides that aims to attract carnival attendees at this year’s Cowboy Days & O’Odham Tash carnival.
The Hyper Loop begins in a gentle pendulum-like swing, rocking riders back and forth. But as the pendulum gains speed, it begins to spin, making a 360-degree revolution about 60 feet above the ground.
Kastl Amusements returns this year as the carnival vendor for Cowboy Days & O’Odham Tash, set up near Pinal Avenue and Rodeo Road.
A full-service carnival company that’s been in business for 20 years, Kastl Amusements operates at fairs, festivals and events throughout Arizona, California and Nevada.
Kastl offers a variety of rides and attractions for small children as well as plenty of stomach-churning, dizzying options to thrill older kids and adults.
Various family-friendly carnival games and sweet and salty concessions such as caramel apples, popcorn, churros, beverages and other options will also be available for purchase.
The carnival opens on Friday, Feb. 14, and runs through Sunday, Feb. 23. Wristbands for all rides at $20 will be on sale at the site from 1 to 5 p.m. Feb. 11-13, weather permitting.
