SUPERIOR — Attendees will taste, sip and shop during the Flavor of Arizona Festival, set to take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 15 at Boyce Thompson Arboretum, 37615 E. Arboretum Way.
“Stroll the gardens, taste locally grown food, sip Arizona beers and wines, and find gifts from around the state,” an announcement from event organizers said.
Among the features of the event is a cooking demonstration in which attendees will learn how to incorporate local flavors into their dishes.
During the event’s nature strolls, attendees will learn how native plants are used and a gardening demonstration will show techniques for growing ingredients at home.
The event also includes an art exhibit and live music, with singer Shari Rowe set to perform.
The event is sponsored by Pricklee Cactus Water, Explore Pinal County and American Family Insurance, Matthew Storms Agency.
