Hotspots available for check-out
Casa Grande Public Library cardholders can access free, high-speed internet from almost anywhere through the Wi-Fi hotspot lending program. Portable hotspots allow library cardholders who do not have home internet access to easily get online from almost anywhere using a Wi-Fi-enabled device such as a phone, tablet or laptop. A limited number of hotspots are available to check out from each library branch.
Contactless delivery and pickup
The library is now offering contactless delivery and pickup. Library materials will be delivered to and picked up from outside your door. No interaction needed! Want to learn more? Contact the libraries at 520-421-8652, ext. 5019 or email@example.com.
Books for sale
A small selection of used books, audio books and DVDs is available for sale at both the Main and Vista Grande libraries. Hardbacks are $2 each and paperbacks are 50 cents each or three for $1. Proceeds go to the Friends of the Library.
Come in and browse
Both branches of the library are now open to the public for browsing and computer use. The number of people allowed in the buildings is limited to approximately 25% of typical capacity. Furniture layout and signage have been modified to promote physical distancing, and computer stations are spaced to maintain distance between patrons. Masks are required in all city facilities.
Area residents may join the youth librarian from the Vista Grande Library for a mini version of Storytime online. He will read books, sing songs and play the ukulele. The youth librarian from the Main library also hosts online Storytime, craft ideas and puppet shows. Programs can be found at facebook.com/cglibraryaz or youtube.com/casagrandelibrary.
