Gale Learning Courses
What’s on your list to learn? Whether it’s learning to build up business know-how or master a second language or conquer code, Gale Courses, held online, offer instruction led by experts. The courses are free to those with a library card. Select from hundreds of personal and professional development courses covering a variety of topics.
While the sessions are six weeks long, the lessons are released twice a week — so you can keep up or catch up. A new round of courses starts every month. To learn when the next enrollment of Gale Courses is, visit cglibrary.org and click on the Gale icon on the left side of the screen.
Online library registration
Don’t have a library card? You can now register with the library online. This will give you access to all the library’s electronic resources, including Libby, Hoopla and Gale Courses. To register online, go to cglibrary.org, click on the “Log In” link in the top right corner, then click on the link to register now. To upgrade your account to borrow physical materials, come by the library in person during the hours of operation.

Come in and browse
Both branches of the library are now open to the public for browsing and computer use. The number of people allowed in the buildings is limited to approximately 25% of typical capacity. Furniture layout and signage have been modified to promote physical distancing, and computer stations are spaced to maintain distance between patrons. Toys and other interactive activities as well as newspapers and magazines are not available for patron use. Masks are required in all city facilities.
Don’t feel like coming in? Curbside pickup is available during regular business hours.
- Main Library, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday.

Study rooms at Main
Study rooms are available for patron use during regular business hours. To reserve a room go to http://pcld.libnet.info/reserve and select Casa Grande Main Library. Rooms can be reserved for up to two hours a day. Masks are required in all city facilities.
