CASA GRANDE — With more than 400 participants and a trailer-full of toys collected, organizers say the 2019 Casa Grande Toy Parade was a success.

The toy run, in its 33rd year, is traditionally held on the first Sunday in December.

“Sometimes, the first Sunday in December falls on Thanksgiving weekend, as it did this year, and that can affect attendance because people go out of town,” said toy run founder Dennis Beye. “But this year, we had a great turnout, even though it might have been slightly less than last year.”
