Flash Flood Watch

CASA GRANDE -- A flash flood watch has been issued for central Arizona Saturday, including parts of Pinal County, as a significant rain storm moves through the area, forecasters said.

The National Weather Service said significant rainfall and localized flooding should affect the region mostly Saturday afternoon and evening.

There is a risk of lightning and even hail in teh area, along with gusty winds, the weather service said.

The flash flood watch has ben issued for between 5 a.m. and 11 p.m.and includes northwest Pinal County stretching down to Casa Grande and Coolidge, with Superior and the mountains of Pinal and Gila counties expected to have the most threat.
