National Day of Prayer
A car procession is planned on Thursday in observance of the National Day of Prayer. The event is organized by Seeds of Hope. Those in cars wishing to take part in the event will gather in the parking lot of The Promenade at Casa Grande and tune in to Grace 91.1 FM beginning at 5:45 p.m. The procession will pull out of the shopping center in a single file of cars and drive through the community, saying prayers at certain points along the way.
The event is self-guided and drivers are asked to obey all traffic signals. National Day of Prayer is an annual event during which people of different faiths and beliefs come together to pray collectively for the country and the community.
