CASA GRANDE — A man wanted on a felony warrant out of the state prison system led police on a chase through Casa Grande Tuesday morning before crashing and being arrested, along with two other occupants of the vehicle.

A Casa Grande Police officer attempted to stop a car around 10:30 a.m. for traveling at a high rate of speed and unsafe passing on O’Neil Drive east of Pinal Avenue. The male driver then sped off with a male and female passenger.

Police then pursued the vehicle, which continued to Kadota Avenue then south to Cottonwood Lane and west on Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway toward Maricopa. The driver lost control of the vehicle and struck a fence on Union Pacific Railroad property near Ethington Road. All three occupants were detained.

Police said the driver was wanted on a felony warrant from the Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation and Reentry.

Further details and names of those arrested were not available.
