CASA GRANDE — A Phoenix man is the latest person caught in a Pinal County Sheriff’s Office online sex sting.
According to Pinal County Superior Court records, Jeff L. Jacobs, 52, is charged with luring a minor for sexual exploitation.
Jacobs allegedly had an explicit online and text messaging conversation with a PCSO deputy who was posing as a 15-year-old girl online. Jacobs arranged to meet the “girl” at an undisclosed location in Casa Grande, where he was promptly taken into custody by PCSO deputies.
He allegedly told deputies that he knew it was illegal to have sex with a minor and also had an open container of alcohol in his vehicle.
