CASA GRANDE — The Casa Grande Elementary School District Governing Board will have a new face at its next meeting.
Jerry Stabley has been appointed by the Pinal County school superintendent to fill the position vacated by longtime board member Dolores Kinser.
Kinser resigned due to health reasons.
“Our CGESD family will miss Mrs. Kinser’s love for children and passion for education,” the board stated in a press release. “Mrs. Kinser has made a tremendous impact in our district over the years, both as a former principal and Governing Board member. Mrs. Kinser’s leadership has always been focused on providing the best learning experiences for our children and representing the needs of Casa Grande. We wish Mrs. Kinser the best of luck in all her future endeavors and a happy retirement.”
Stabley, a retired Pinal County community development director who now works for the city of Eloy as project manager, will serve the rest of Kinser’s term that ends Dec. 31. The seat will be on the November ballot.
