Caliche Halloween celebration

Caliche Senior Living, 1640 N. Peart Road, will host a Halloween celebration on Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. with music, spooky treats and a costume contest for most creative costume. It’s open to the public and free to attend.

Jeep Night planned

Jeep Night is planned at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9, at Sonic Drive-In, 1392 E. Florence Blvd. All Jeeps, Jeep fans and Jeep owners are welcome. In the event that weather such as rain causes cancellation of the event, the makeup date is Nov. 10.

Shredding Day and E-Cycle

Residents may safely dispose of personal and confidential documents at the Day of Shredding from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday at 1001 N. Pinal Ave., hosted by the Casa Grande Youth Commission and First American Credit Union. The shredding event is open to the public and there is no charge to shred and recycle up to five boxes of material. Donations to the Youth Commission will be accepted, especially for those with more than five boxes of material to shred. Also, the city of Casa Grande Sanitation Division will be hosting an E-Cycle event on-site to recycle old and unwanted electronics. Acceptable items include computer monitors, keyboards, televisions, cameras, phones and household batteries.
