Tax assistance offered

Beginning Thursday and continuing every Thursday and Friday through April 15, AARP Foundation will offer tax assistance and preparation through its Tax-Aide program at Desert Sky Baptist Church, 891 W. Kortsen Road. The service is free. Tax-Aide has several options for providing taxpayer assistance — low contact, document drop-off or self-preparation, in which taxpayers are offered free access to software so they can prepare their own return.
