CASA GRANDE — The driver of one vehicle involved in a Casa Grande collision Wednesday fled the scene while two others were transported to area hospitals, authorities said.
Casa Grande police are investigating the two-vehicle collision, between a Camaro and a Nissan that occurred at 5:36 p.m. at 1635 E. Florence Blvd.
Emergency responders at the scene said three people suffered injuries in the collision. A 40-year-old woman who was a passenger in the Nissan was flown to a Valley hospital and the driver of the Camaro was transported to Banner Casa Grande Medical Center. The third person, a man driving the Nissan, fled the scene with some injuries.
Officers believe the driver of the Nissan may have caused the accident and are trying to locate him.
