CASA GRANDE — The Casa Grande Union High School Class of 1969 is planning its 50-year reunion, with a weekend full of activities, beginning on Oct. 11.
The reunion is a chance to reconnect with classmates.
The following activities are planned:
Friday, Oct. 11,
- attendees will meet beginning at 6 p.m. at BeDillon’s Restaurant, 800 N. Park Ave., during the multiyear class reunion for all CGUHS alumni. Attendees will meet in the Tack Room but may mingle and mix with those from other classes. The reunion committee will provide light snacks in the Tack Room but attendees may purchase additional food and beverages if desired.
Saturday, Oct. 12,
- the Denim and Diamonds main reunion event begins at 6 p.m. at The Property Conference Center, 1251 W. Gila Bend Highway. Attendees may wear dancing boots and jeans or dress in more formal attire. The event includes a buffet dinner, awards, music, a photo booth and a no-host bar. Doors open at 5 p.m. Dinner starts at 6 p.m.
- Oct. 13, a farewell brunch will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the home of Ken and Brenda Robbins, 1498 N. Amarillo St. It includes a chance to wind down and say farewell to classmates.
Those attending should RSVP. Admittance to all three events is $55 per person.
