CASA GRANDE — It's going to be rather cold Tuesday morning in Pinal County following Monday's frontal passage.
Low in the 40s to high 30s are expected in the county, with freezing temps across high terrain areas in northern Pinal County and Gila County, including the Superior area. A freeze warning is in effect Tuesday morning in Globe, according to the National Weather Service.
The very strong area of high pressure helping to bring the very cold air into parts of the state is leading to very strong winds across the area.
The result is a very tight pressure gradient, which is shown by all of those tightly packed lines from the Northwest through the Rockies, according to AccuWeather.
The worst of the wind will end Monday night across Arizona, but after expected 50 mph gusts hit the deserts.
