ELOY — The Desert Rose Baha’i Institute has announced the following programs that are open to the public in January:

Fresh Start Workshop with Linda Kavelin-Popov — 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9. Admission is $59. The workshop aims to help attendees launch 2021 with a fresh start. Kavelin-Popov is back by popular demand to lead a 90-minute, intensive workshop focusing on lessons found within her new book, “Dreaming at the Crossroads of Change.” Attendees will take a deep soul dive into: looking honestly at where you are now, discerning what calls to you at this season and creating an action plan for change.

In The Garden of the Heart — A two-day arts class for all ages that begins at noon on Saturdays, Jan. 9 and 16. Admission is $30. The workshop aims to help people show COVID-19 their best face and is inspired by renowned professional artist and fine art Professor Suzanne Klotz. Participants will create their own imagery to be printed onto face masks for themselves or as gifts for Valentine’s Day, Ayya-mi-Ha or any other special occasion. The class consists of two one-hour virtual sessions, one week apart. Space is limited. For more information, email desertroselearn@gmail.com.
