CASA GRANDE — Casa Grande Police are asking the public for help in identifying the body of a woman found on June 5.

The woman’s body was found on Tank Road north of Ghost Ranch Road by a citizen who was passing by the area and saw it, according to officials. The woman’s features had decomposed past recognition. The cause of her death is currently unknown and officers do not know how long her body may have been in the desert.

Police believe she may have been around 20 years old and Caucasian, Hispanic or Native American. She was wearing a black and teal sleeveless dress with a chevron pattern, a copper bracelet and a watch with a red face and leather strap.

Officers also found two tattoos on her body. One on her lower right leg is of a small flower with vines and leaves. The other tattoo is on her left shoulder blade and has the words “Baby Face Rick” with angel wings above it.
