Blues-rock guitarist Carvin Jones will play a concert in Casa Grande on April 10.

CASA GRANDE — World-renowned blues-rock guitarist Carvin Jones will return to Casa Grande for a show on Saturday, April 10.

“Carvin Jones, voted into the Top 50 guitarists by Guitarist Magazine, brings his ultimate guitar experience to you,” an announcement for the show on CarvinJones.com said.

The show is from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Paramount Theater, 420 N. Florence St.

Jones has been playing guitar since age 6, inspired by B.B. King, Jimi Hendrix and ZZ Top. Since then, he’s played in 35 countries, including Iraq and Kuwait, where he performed for U.S. troops.

He has opened shows for Carlos Santana, Jeff Beck, Gary Moore, John Mayall, Albert Collins, Jimmie Vaughn and other blues legends.

Jones performed at the Paramount Theater in 2019 and 2020.

In a 2019 interview with PinalCentral, he said he enjoys playing some of his favorite songs for audiences.
