The 16th annual Holiday Homes & Businesses on Parade takes place from December 7-16th. Registration opens August 1, 2019, and will close at 5 pm on November 1, 2019.  We are accepting any residents or business owners with lights and holiday decor in their yard or on the outside of their business to join in the fun of the decorating contest.  We will be judging in four different categories:

Best Theme

Best Light Show

Best Use of Color

Best on Parade -$150 cash prize

Resident's choice -$50 cash prize and $100 Gift Card to Unique Toys & Hobbies

Best Business - fee waiver of banner permit for 6 months

This contest is also extended to commercial businesses through the Special Event Permit: Supporting Holiday Shopping Program.  Winners in the business category receive a fee waiver of banner permits for a period of 6 months (January - June of the following year).

The City of Maricopa would like to engage all of the citizens and businesses of Maricopa in coming together to enjoy the holiday spirit by recognizing and appreciating all of the efforts put into great holiday decorating. Registration can be done online at:  Participant signs can be picked up at Copper Sky Recreation Complex between the hours of 11 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday - Thursday November 12-20, 2019.
