CASA GRANDE — A new Mexican seafood restaurant, Mr. Baja Taqueria, will be taking the place of Esteban’s Mexican Grill.
Esteban’s Mexican Grill, which opened in July at 201 W. Cottonwood Lane, closed its doors after about six months of operation.
The restaurant was a hot spot for Casa Grande residents as many raved about the foods and drinks available.
However, the restaurant closed, and its Facebook page is no longer active. It is unclear as to why the restaurant had to close its doors.
Benjamin Lugo owns Mr. Baja Fish Express in Tucson and will be operating Mr. Baja Taqueria.
The company restaurant already lists Casa Grande as one of its locations.
“We’re bringing the unique flavor of Baja California to Tucson in a Traditional Mexican and Seafood Restaurant,” says a statement on the website.
It is not confirmed when Mr. Baja Taqueria will be opening its doors for Casa Grande residents.
