CASA GRANDE- Local businesses and nonprofits have another opportunity to receive assistance after the city announced the launch of the third round of the Casa Grande CARES program.
According to the press release, the application and supporting documents are due on Feb 11 at 4 p.m. but have already begun accepting applications.
“Achieving a sense of normality has been a moving target. Casa Grande CARES financially assists local (City) businesses and federally recognized non-profits that have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 Pandemic,” said the press release. “Businesses and non-profits that have experienced a loss of 25% revenue or more are highly encouraged to apply.”
The program provides a one-time reimbursement of up to $20,000 to qualifying applicants for rent, mortgage, utility expenses, an extension of property (restaurants only), and/or the purchase of personal protective equipment for a three-month period.
Applicants are encouraged to apply early and priority will be given to businesses and federally designated non-profits who have received no prior CARES assistance from the city.
In order to qualify, applicants must be located at a physical, commercial address within the City of Casa Grande boundaries.
All applications will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis. According to the press release, applicants are ineligible if they have received prior federal assistance.
