ORACLE – Arizona Zipline Adventures in southern Pinal County received recognition from the Arizona community through an assortment of awards in 2019.
Located in the base of the scenic Santa Catalina Mountains, Arizona Zipline Adventures serves as the site of Arizona's first and fastest Zipline EcoTour. Since opening in 2016 and recently expanding it’s offerings to include guided tours of Peppersauce Cave, it’s becoming one of Arizona’s most popular attractions.
Emily Goff, one of the co-owners of the adventure-based company, started the year by winning the Business Owner of the Year for Inside Tucson Business’ Women of Influence Awards.
“As a first-time business owner, I am extremely humbled and honored to have won this prestigious award and be a finalist among role models like Shirley Dail and Maria Mazon” said Goff.
In June, Arizona Zipline Adventures was awarded the number one spot in Big Media’s Top Things to Do for Outdoor Adventure, beating Sedona’s infamous Pink Jeep Tours and other Arizona staples. Shortly after this, the zipline was chosen as a Fan Favorite for the Best Ultimate Entertainment category in Arizona Daily Star’s Reader’s Choice Awards. The voter base consisted of people who have experienced and enjoyed Tucson’s businesses and voted for the ones they loved.
Most recently, Arizona Zipline Adventures was recognized not for its zipline experience, but for its popular restaurant, Peppersauce Kitchen. In September, Peppersauce Kitchen competed against over 50 of Tucson’s best restaurants in a Salsa, Tequila & Taco Challenge hosted by SAACA (Southern Arizona Arts & Cultural Alliance). Not only did they take home the 1st place for Judge’s Choice Taco, but they also came in 2nd place for Peoples’ Choice Taco and 2nd place Best Traditional Salsa.
