MARICOPA — A Josh Turner holiday concert scheduled for Friday at The Events Center at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino has been postponed due to COVID-19, show organizers announced Wednesday.
“Members of the touring entourage have tested positive for COVID-19,” an email from the Harrah’s public relations team said. “On behalf of Josh Turner and his team, they sincerely apologize for this inconvenience.”
The show will be rescheduled, but a new date has not yet been set.
As part of his “The Hits Tour,” the country singer was set to perform holiday classics and originals from his latest album and first holiday album, “King Size Manger.”
The album features his renditions of Christmas classics, including “Silent Night, Holy Night,” “The First Noel” and “Santa Claus Is Comin’ To Town” as well as some originals like “Mele Kalikimaka My ‘Ohana” and “What He’s Given Me.”
Turner’s show also had been postponed last year.
Those who purchased tickets will have the option of using the tickets for the rescheduled show.
