COOLIDGE — Police are investigating the death of a man who was found unresponsive on Walton Avenue early Friday morning.
At 1:22 a.m. police were called to the 200 block of West Walton Avenue in response to reports of shots fired. Upon arriving, officers found Jory Roberts, 24, unresponsive.
The Coolidge Police Department said that emergency medical service personnel attempted lifesaving measures on Roberts, but to no avail.
Roberts’ death is being investigated as a homicide, the third of the year in Coolidge following the deaths of two infants.
The circumstances of the apparent homicide, including exactly where it took place, have not been released. More information will be added as it becomes available.
