CASA GRANDE — Four people, including two children, suffered serious injuries after two vehicles collided at an intersection just outside the Casa Grande city limits Monday afternoon.
Emergency personnel respond to a T-bone collision about 3:30 p.m. at the corner of Peters and Chuichu roads.
The occupants of a silver Nissan Rogue, a woman in her 50s and two girls 9 and 15 years old were taken to Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa.
The woman and 9-year-old were flown by helicopter from the scene, while the 15-year-old was transported by ambulance, officials said.
The male driver of a black Jeep was taken to Banner Casa Grande Medical Center.
The extent of their injuries was not available.
The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
