ARIZONA CITY — The annual Arizona City Ladies Club Championship Tournament was held March 20-21 at the Arizona City Golf Course.

Becky Hamilton shot 87 and 88 for a total of 175 to win the championship. The next closest score was 178 (87 and 91) shot by Paget Whitney. Paget is the 2019 Low Net Champion.

Jackie Colosso scored a total of 180 to win first low gross in A flight, and Ginger Hartse finished with 188 to win second low gross. Mary Bishop won first low net with a net 144, and Sharry Willard won second low net with a net 153.

The B flight winner was Cathy Chadsey, who finished with 190, and Diane Glennie won second place with 207. The low net winner was Marty Losee, who had a net 147, and Sandy Freng won second low net with a net 149.

Sue Henk won low gross in C flight with 206, and Bonniejean Gualandi finished in second place with 222. The low net winner was Jude Holden with a net 143, and Patty Clark won second low net with a net 146.

For the closest to the pin contest, none of the golfers managed to keep the ball on No. 8 the first day. Sheree Kemick had the best drive on No. 17. Sue Henk had an excellent drive on No. 8 the second day to win closest-to-the-pin honors, and Sharry Willard won No. 17 (and, she birdied the hole).
