ARIZONA CITY — A $50,000 truck stolen in Maricopa last November was located in Arizona City and a man arrested this month, police said.

According to a Maricopa Police Department report, on Nov. 7 at around 1 a.m., a 2017 Ford F-550 truck was stolen from the Walmart parking lot. The $50,000 truck was then driven to Arizona City.

Fingerprints were obtained from the vehicle, and they reportedly came back to match Ramon Hernandez.

On Jan. 20, Maricopa Police made contact with Hernandez, who allegedly admitted to stealing the vehicle. In addition to fingerprints matching the suspect, Hernandez was seen on surveillance camera taking the truck.

He was arrested and booked into the Pinal County jail on two counts of theft of transportation.
