ARIZONA CITY — A Pinal County Public Works official will discuss proposed improvements to Sunland Gin Road in Arizona City this month.
County Supervisors Chairman Anthony Smith, R-Maricopa, will be hosting a public session on Feb. 11 from 10 a.m. to noon.
The event will take place at Freedom Family Church, 13325 S. Tacna Road in Arizona City, and will cover improvements for Sunland Gin Road between Battaglia Drive and Century Drive.
Smith’s guest will be Pinal County Public Works Engineering Branch Manager Celeste Garza.
Garza will be sharing details about the Sunland Gin Road project. It is a $3.5 million impact fee-funded improvement for a three-lane road along with drainage improvements and a concrete sidewalk. She will also answer questions from the public.
Smith will briefly discuss activity throughout the county.
