ARIZONA CITY — Unlike last year when rain and mud canceled the annual Arizona City Daze festival, the weather on Saturday was bright, sunny and a little warm for the one-day event.

The parade down Sunland Gin Road began with the usual flyover and featured nearly 40 entries.

Parade volunteer Joanne Parsons estimated that the entries were 10 fewer than average, but there was a lot of diversity and a lot of enthusiasm among the entrants.
