Kids participate in a Halloween themed event at the Arizona City Chapter of the Boys & Girls Club of Casa Grande Valley.

ARIZONA CITY — The Boys & Girls Clubs of Casa Grande Valley is hosting its 15th annual Spaghetti Dinner on Sunday to raise funds for its Arizona City chapter.

The event will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Arizona City Moose Lodge, 14220 S. Calera Road.

Cost is $7.50 for adults and $3.75 for children 12 and under.

Matthew Lemberg, the club’s executive director, says participation has grown considerably in the Arizona City chapter the last two years.

“To address declining attendance at this club, we eliminated all monthly program fees two years ago,” Lemberg said. “After serving approximately 35 members a day in 2016-17, we are currently serving over 80 each day this year.”

At the same time the club waived its fees, the Toltec School District waived its annual facility usage fee to the club.

“We agreed that serving the kids is the most important,” Lemberg said.
