ARIZONA CITY — Organizers are accepting applications from vendors, artists and crafters who wish to take part in a craft show to be held in November at First Baptist Church of Arizona City, 13955 S. Sunland Gin Road.

The show will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 13, weather permitting. Should bad weather be an issue, the reschedule date is Nov. 20.

The show is expected to have between 40 and 50 vendors, artists and crafters.

“In the past we have had a variety of crafts, all handmade by local artists,” said Bethanna Kortie, one of the organizers of the event. “Sewing, crochet, knit, cards, watercolors, mugs, jewelry, metal-crafts, wood-crafts, stained glass. Also home-baked goodies — our Mennonite ladies are quite the hit.”

The church will have a table at the event.

“They are talking about getting a craft area for kids, but it’s not finalized yet. There is a playground right by where we set up, too,” she said.

New to the event this year are food trucks. Applications are still being accepted from vendors. Organizers hope at least five will be on hand.
