APACHE JUNCTION — Pinal County Sheriff’s deputies arrested an Apache Junction man for allegedly downloading sexually exploitive videos of minors on Wednesday.
Randy Severin, 66, was arrested on suspicion of three counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
According to PCSO, Severin was already on lifetime federal probation for possession of child pornography. According to federal court records, Severin pleaded guilty to one count of receipt of child pornography in 2009 and was sentenced to more than five years in prison and a lifetime of probation and required to register as a sex offender.
“Having shown his ability to reoffend, I am thankful our detectives were able to track this suspect down,” said Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb. “With these types of crimes, there are no second chances.”
